This Policy applies to passengers/customers, driver-partners, prospective driver-partners and visitors to the Platform in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and to other locations where the service is lawfully made available.
2. Scope and legal framework
We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, to the extent and from the dates their provisions apply; the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules; consumer-protection, motor-vehicle, tax, payment, and other applicable laws. The commencement of provisions may be phased. This Policy does not override any mandatory legal rights.
3. Personal data we collect
- Account and contact data: name, mobile number, email address, profile photo (if provided), login/verification information and communication preferences.
- Trip and location data: pickup and drop-off points, live GPS location while using relevant features, route, timestamps, trip history, estimated/actual distance and duration, and location shared with the driver or passenger for a booking.
- Driver onboarding data: identity and age details, photograph, driving licence, vehicle registration certificate, permit/fitness/pollution documents where applicable, insurance details, bank or payout details, emergency contact and verification outcomes. We collect only what is needed for onboarding, safety, payment or legal compliance.
- Transaction data: fare, fees, discounts, refunds, payment status, payment method tokens or transaction references. Full card, UPI PIN, CVV or banking authentication credentials should be handled by authorised payment providers and not stored by us.
- Support and safety data: messages, complaints, feedback, incident reports, call/chat records where notice is given and recording is lawful, and evidence voluntarily provided for investigation.
- Technical and usage data: device type, app version, IP address, crash/diagnostic logs, identifiers, permissions and interaction events needed to operate, secure and improve the Platform.
- Marketing preferences: choices about promotional messages and responses to campaigns, where applicable.
4. How we collect data
We collect information directly from you when you register, request or complete a ride, contact support, submit driver documents, or use the Platform. We may receive limited information from drivers/passengers involved in a trip, identity/document verification providers, payment providers, mapping and communications services, app stores, and public authorities where legally permitted. Device location is collected only after the relevant device permission is granted and subject to your device settings; some booking functions may not work if location access is disabled.
5. Purposes and lawful grounds
We use personal data for specific purposes such as: creating and maintaining accounts; matching passengers and drivers; displaying pickup/drop-off locations and trip progress; calculating fares and processing payments/refunds; verifying driver identity, licence, vehicle and eligibility; providing customer support; preventing fraud, abuse and unsafe conduct; investigating complaints and accidents; sending service notices; maintaining records; improving reliability and accessibility; sending optional marketing where permitted; and complying with legal orders, audits, tax and regulatory obligations.
Where consent is required by applicable law, we will seek it in a clear, specific and informed manner and provide a practical way to withdraw it. Certain processing may be necessary to provide a requested service, perform a contract, meet legal obligations, or protect safety and legal claims where permitted by law. Withdrawal of consent does not invalidate processing already lawfully carried out and may mean that features depending on the data cannot be provided.
6. Location and trip sharing
Location is used to show nearby available drivers, match a booking, navigate to pickup/drop-off points, estimate arrival and fare, support trip safety, and resolve disputes. We aim to limit access to location to what is reasonably necessary for these purposes. The Platform may share relevant trip details with the assigned passenger or driver. We do not promise continuous location collection when the app is closed unless the feature and device permissions clearly indicate that it is active.
7. When we share data
- Passengers and assigned drivers: limited contact and trip information needed to complete the ride. Phone numbers may be masked if the relevant system supports it.
- Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, maps/navigation, SMS/OTP, customer support, analytics, identity verification, fraud prevention and payment processing providers acting under appropriate arrangements.
- Authorities and other parties: when required by law, court order, lawful government request, safety emergency, investigation, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Business changes: in connection with a merger, restructuring, financing or transfer of the relevant business, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.
We do not sell personal data as a standalone data-broker product. We do not share personal data for unrelated third- party marketing without a lawful basis and any consent required by law.
8. Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. Their terms and privacy notices also apply. We may receive transaction references, amount, payment status and limited payment-method details. Do not send your UPI PIN, OTP, CVV or password to a driver or support agent.
9. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including ride fulfilment, customer support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, accounting, tax, insurance, safety and legal obligations. Retention periods depend on data type and applicable law. When data is no longer needed, we will delete it or irreversibly anonymise it, unless retention is legally required or permitted.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the data and risks, which may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where supported, monitoring, backups, staff access restrictions and vendor controls. No digital service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will respond and provide notices to affected persons or authorities as required by applicable law.
11. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and its commencement, you may request access to information about processing, correction or updating of inaccurate data, erasure where retention is not legally required, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal, and nomination or other rights available under applicable law. You can also manage device permissions and marketing preferences. To make a request, email jsvnetworks@gmail.com from your registered email or contact 8074215689 and state your registered mobile number and request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
12. Children
The Platform is intended for adults who can lawfully enter into a ride booking. Do not create an account or use the service if you are under 18, except where a lawful arrangement and applicable parental/guardian requirements have been expressly implemented. We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal data in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has supplied personal data, contact us.
13. Third-party services and links
The Platform may link to or use third-party maps, payment gateways, app stores or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We are not responsible for independent third-party websites or services, except to the extent required by law.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our service, law or processing practices. We will publish the revised version on the website and/or in the app and update the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide notice or seek fresh consent.
15. Grievance and privacy contact
Privacy/grievance contact: Email: jsvnetworks@gmail.com | Phone: 8074215689 | Address: 3-118, Flat No. G3, Sai Silicon Heights, Madhapur, Shaikpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India - 500081. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and resolve them within the period required by applicable law. If unresolved, you may have a right to approach the competent authority under applicable law.
16. State-specific operations
Rides are offered only in locations where Reddy Gari Bandi and the relevant driver/vehicle are legally authorised to operate. Bike-taxi and aggregator permissions may differ between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and may change. A booking may be refused, paused or cancelled if required permits, authorisations, vehicle category, insurance or other legal requirements are not satisfied.
